A relatively newer treatment is the use of membrane-pressed foil or film onto an MDF substrate.  For years, SAMA has been providing this technique to our client partners as it often provides a much more durable surface, particularly around edgework, than typical laminate.  Available in many colors and patterns, this is definitely something to consider for your next project.  Please ask your SAMA representative for more details.  Here are some of the material suppliers we’ve used to date….
